Teenage Kiri's girls school has been practising for months to win the regional schools' Kapa Haka competition. She has been entrusted with the honour of doing the double long poi, the butterfly, the purerehua. She must pull off the move in order for them to win, but this is not easy when she is struggling with a pregnancy that she has to abort the following day.
