“Picnic Stops explores the internal war in a young woman between her heart and her sense of duty. She is caught between wanting to do the right and painful thing, and wanting to avoid the pain entirely.

I felt compelled to make this film after a traumatic event in my own family shone harsh light onto family factions and divisions. In the extreme situation people revealed themselves clearly through their actions.”
