A magical, musical extravaganza unfolds one fateful night, as young Sikh Sajjan, is caught between two worlds and must determine his true destiny.
It’s the night of his arranged marriage engagement party but Sajjan Singh has to see Dr Angie Pohiva one last time. Visiting her at work while she tends to a patient, Sajjan is told by Angie that she never wants to see him again.
Returning to his parents’ restaurant where party preparations are in full swing, Sajjan is reminded how important his arranged marriage is to his family. Assuring his father he will return to do his familial duty, Sajjan leaves to give Angie’s patient, Quentin Parnell, a ride across town.
Quentin leads Sajjan into an old theatre where Sajjan learns that this world-famous actor is harbouring secret regrets of his own. Quentin rallies a troupe of brilliant performers and they stage a song and dance extravaganza encouraging Sajjan to determine his own destiny. Urged to follow his heart, Sajjan challenges Quentin to do likewise and an impossible quest is born.
