Good Taste Made Bad Taste
The strange tale of the four years and seven people behind New Zealand's most successful comedy-splatter feature film, Bad Taste.
The brains responsible for (and subsequently seen in) Bad Taste belong to Peter Jackson - weaned on home movies, he became writer, director, actor and cinematographer.
Then there were his mates - from their various different jobs, they assembled at weekends as untrained and unpaid actors and crew - and painters and writers and stunt-men and chippies and everything else that was needed....
Remembered affectionately by Peter's mum as "a very nice bunch of boys...", Good Taste Made Bad Taste is their story.
