High quality demographic data about the screen sector is vital for the NZFC to better understand the make-up and needs of the industry, and to help develop policies that will support a diverse and inclusive sector.
The following data has been collated to show the ethnic diversity across the pool of creatives granted NZFC development and/or production funding during the 2019/20 financial year.
Demographic data is requested as part of the application process for all development and production initiatives and is captured through the NZFC's digital application portal.
