The NZFC is pleased to announce a new collaboration with NZ On Air to support short documentaries.
Both agencies are investing in an initiative called LOADINGDOCS developed by Notable Pictures (producers Julia Parnell and Anna Jackson). It will take the form of a digital launchpad for a series of short (3-5min) documentaries from local directors, and we anticipate crowd funding and international partnerships will be involved. The films will all be based around the key theme of HOME.
Julia Parnell has produced two completed shorts funded through the Fresh Shorts scheme: Hitch Hike and Friday Tigers (Nga Taika O Te Ramere). She is currently in production with another two short films - Dive and Rising Dust.
