These opportunities are available to writers, directors, and producers who’ve received NZFC development funding or participated in an intensive NZFC-funded development programme.

Successful applicants receive financial support to help make the most of their placement experience.

Application info

Successful applicants will receive a one-off grant (Funding) of up to $60,000 NZD + GST (if applicable) towards their placement. Please note that an applicant can only be successful for one placement at a time, regardless of how many they apply for. The amount of funding we decide to award will depend on the availability of funds in the given financial year, the extent to which your application meets our assessment criteria, and the location, duration and nature of the placement.
