Te Tumu Whakaata Taonga | The New Zealand Film Commission (NZFC) is offering a unique opportunity to contribute to positioning Aotearoa New Zealand as a world-class destination for international screen production.
We are looking for an organised, proactive, and highly collaborative International Attraction and Inbound Production Coordinator to join our team focused on screen business development. This role suits a person with experience in coordination or administrative roles and preferably with experience in the screen industry and interest in supporting marketing and promotional activity including events.

NZFC works to grow a thriving screen sector. The agency supports the development of high-impact, authentic, and culturally significant screen content for Aotearoa, attracts international productions, builds strong global partnerships and encourages talent and capability development.
About the role
As part of our International Attraction and Inbound Production team, you will provide coordination, research, and administrative support to attract international productions to New Zealand. You will work closely with industry stakeholders, international studios, and production companies on activity that drives economic growth and showcases New Zealand’s talent, locations, and production capability globally.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to international production enquiry responses including stakeholder interactions
- Research productions, locations, and industry trends
- Coordinate team logistics, calendars, and meetings
- Assist with travel planning and team and client itineraries
- Maintain image, crew and location resources
- Support marketing and promotional activity including events
- Administration of CRM data and maintain records
- Take meeting minutes and track actions
- Respond to general international enquiries
What you’ll bring
We are looking for someone with a client-focused mindset who is highly organised, detail-oriented, a strong communicator, proactive, adaptable, and collaborative. An understanding or working knowledge of screen production processes is an advantage
Skills and experience
- Experience in coordination and administrative roles is essential
- Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills and ideally Adobe suite
- Experience with CRM or databases
- Strong research and organisational skills
- Knowledge of NZ geography is a strong advantage
