We're pleased to announce the launch of a new Fresh Shorts online application system for the next round in 2017. This will make it easier for applicants to enter their work and allow speedier communication between the NZFC and applicants. To support the rollout of the application system the Fresh Shorts deadline will move to July 2017.
The new Fresh Shorts deadline is Friday 14th of July at 9am.

Registration
Applicants will be required to first register as a Registered Provider. This will create a login and enable applicants to log onto their application pages, add to, change and save their application content right up to the deadline close.
The registration pages will launch in early June and registration will be open year-round from that date.
Application Portal
The Fresh Shorts application portal will be open from the 27th of June and applicants can enter their application information and upload materials until the deadline close on Friday the 14th of July at 9am.
Fresh Shorts Road Show
The Talent Development Team will be in Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch and Dunedin from the 29th of May to showcase the new system and answer filmmaker’s questions. A link to an online video explaining the application process will be uploaded to the Fresh Shorts web page during the week of 12th of June. Announcements of dates and times for each city will be on the Fresh Shorts and NZFC Facebook pages soon.
