TOPLESS WOMEN TALK ABOUT THEIR LIVES is irreverent, ironic, funny and tragic. It's the story of a group of dysfunctional friends and their encounters witht he absurdities of contemporary life.

So what about a synopsis? As creator Harry Sinclair says, "Well, there's the Mike and Prue story, there's the Liz and Neil story, then there's the Liz and Geoff story and there's the Ant story..."

One thing it would be hard to hide is that Liz, like the actress who plays her (DANIELLE CORMACK), is having a baby.

"Danielle just came in one day and said she was pregnant", says Sinclair. "it struck me as an interesting idea to work with a genuinely pregnant actress."

TOPLESS WOMEN TALK ABOUT THEIR LIVES captures both humour and pathos in its web of interweaving storylines. There's weirdness and normality, jealousy and friendship, depression and exhilaration, falling in and out of love, and a film within a film called TOPLESS WOMEN TALK ABOUT THEIR LIVES.

"We started with something we shot one weekend in Ian Hughes' (Ant's) bedroom and now it's a feature film," says Sinclair. "I think that's really great."
