Regulatory Approvals

 The Commission/NZFC is authorized by the New Zealand Government as the "competent authority" to deal with:

• Film and television co-production applications and issues
• Certification of films as "New Zealand films"
• Applications for grants under the Large Budget Screen Production Grant Scheme
