The NZFC has commissioned an independently run survey on how it is to work with the NZFC. The survey will be open for the next four weeks (up to and including Friday, 24th February) and can be accessed via an external link.

The New Zealand Film Commission’s (NZFC) annual report for 2010/11, tabled in Parliament late last December, noted the implementation of key recommendations from the Jackson/Court Review, the successful introduction of two major new talent identification initiatives (Escalator Low Budget and Fresh Shorts) and the challenge of assisting producers to find new sources of funding.

Hot new kiwi short film, LAMBS, has been selected to screen in competition at the 34th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival - widely regarded as the world’s premiere short film event. This is the 24th year the Festival has run an international competition with LAMBS selected to compete from 5,701 worldwide submissions.
