Jack Brown Genius

Synopsis

A comedy adventure about a modern day inventor struggling with a medieval monk who's living in his brain, and who wants him to rebuild two ancient wings so that he can be freed from purgatory.

In the musty chambers of a thousand year old monastery there lived Elmer, a monk who dreamed of nothing more than being able to fly to visit his Creator.

So Elmer invented a wing system and tragically jumped into the wind filled abyss.

Judged as a suicide, Elmer never got his chance to see the Pearly Gates of his Divine Creator, but instead was sent to the fiery depths of purgatory.

For nearly a thousand years now, Elmer's been searching for someone to help free him from purgatory, someone like Jack Brown. Jack is a brilliant inventor and the last employee of a now crumbling industrial empire. Elmer plans to inhabit Jack's brain in order to get him to rebuild his wing system (so that it will work) thereby redeeming himself and be freed from purgatory.

Jack initially tries to ignore Elmer, who is now living in his brain, but his tyrannical antics are such that Jack is forced to make a pact together to fly.

When Jack starts complaining to his friends about a thousand year old monk who's in his head and a far flung idea of flying, everyone gets quite concerned.

Jack is also condemned, but happily, only to a psychiatric ward! There he pacts with Elmer to make the whole thing work.

But as there are evil forces at play in the form of Jack's former boss and his greedy mistress, Jack must first plummet from towers, crash through burning buildings, escape speeding trains and encounter deep passions before he and Elmer can achieve what is now together their dream - to fly.
