How do I get involved in the film industry in New Zealand?

Keep an eye on our website and sign up to our regular newsletter “NZ Film News” as this will keep you posted on funding decisions and production updates, which is one good way of knowing what is being written and filmed by New Zealanders at the moment. The Big Idea is an online community for the creative and arts industries, including news articles, job opportunities, forums and a marketplace.

Film New Zealand is New Zealand's locations office and first point of contact for overseas producers. They have a very comprehensive website, including The Production Guide, detailing many NZ services and organisations.

SPADA, The Screen Production and Development Association of New Zealand is a representative for the NZ screen industry, with regular events, newsletters and discounts for members.

OnFilm magazine is the internet home of a print magazine, this monthly publication includes production listings - a good way of keeping track of what's being shot in NZ and for possible job opportunities.
